Nintendo NX Confirmed To Launch By 2017 Globally

And it has been confirmed, the new Nintendo console. Allegedly called the “NX” has been confirmed to launch by March 2017 globally and all this is confirmed by non-other than Nintendo itself.

The NX has been in news for quite some time now, with reports coming in stating it being faster than the PlayStation 4 itself, but amidst all the rumors, news, Nintendo itself decided to confirm the status of the console by first posting their latest financial report, among many other details, it also confirmed the NX release time frame.

“For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed ‘NX’ with a brand-new concept,” the company stated

Nintendo Further adds that they want to extend their Amiibo line-up further down the line to boost sales and maintain momentum by offering “new gaming experiences with the use of amiibo.”

Nintendo also has plans on extending its mobile presence by introducing 2 more smartphone games, following the success Miitomo, the company’s first mobile game, the company plans on bringing Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem to smartphones

Sadly this good news also came up with some bad news for us Wii U owners as the upcoming Zelda Game gets delayed again and now will come in 2017 for both the Wii u and the NX when it launches.

While I am happy to see the new console getting confirmed, the news about Zelda game being delayed, did disappointed me a bit, oh well time to sell my Wii u and start collecting cash for the new console. Anyone coming aboard the hype train with me?
