Nintendo had recently confirmed that its upcoming addition to the Zelda franchise, Breath of the Wild has been delayed and will no longer be a launch title for the Nintendo Switch.
Though no more details were given regarding the release date, it might have been (inadvertently) leaked when the game is coming out. Target’s website with a listing for the title now shows a release date for Breath of the Wild.
Considering that when retailers generally use the beginning or the end of a month as placeholders while listing products on the website, this might be pretty close to the actual release date. Coincidentally, June 13th is also the opening day for the E3 2017 conference. Looks like Nintendo’s planning a big surprise for all of us.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will have follow and open-world model and is presently the biggest and the most ambitious Zelda title released by Nintendo till date.
In other news, the Nintendo Switch will be using a custom NVIDIA Tegra mobile processor to power its gaming, and will probably have a new Mario title to go with it at launch.
