They listened to us guys, they heard us, errr…. Kind of. So Halo 5 is finally coming to PC now I just said sort of so you guys must be wondering what I meant, well I meant that we, PC gamers won’t be getting all the single player and the multiplayer goodness, instead we’ll be getting the Forge edition, yes you heard that right the forge edition with all those forging tools along with keyboard and mouse support.
This edition of halo is called Forge – Halo 5: Guardians Edition and will be free, yes you heard that right, free. You can read the full announcement here.
Some of the Features include
- Keyboard & Mouse Support – For the first time ever, Forgers will have the option of using a keyboard & mouse allowing for more precision control than ever before.
- Increased Resolution – Support for multiple resolutions including 4k.
- Test and Play with Friends – Enlist the help of Friends to help build, test, and play your Forge creations on Windows 10.
- Build on Windows 10 and Publish to Xbox One – Experiences built on Windows 10 can be published to and played on Xbox One, opening the doors for countless new experiences to be enjoyed by players all over the world.
While this kind of seems like a step towards PC gaming, we as PC gamers would have loved the whole game that means the single player campaign along with the multiplayer goodness and this to be honest seems like a joke, well at least to me.
