Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the best shooter when it released back in 2007, with a great singleplayer campaign and an even greater multiplayer mode, and it’s seems like it is ready to make a comeback.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t more excited for COD Modern Warfare Remastered than COD Infinite Warfare, which is proved by the new multiplayer reveal trailer for the Remaster.
Returning to its roots, the trailer takes you back to the good old days when shooting other people was more about shooting other people in the face and less about wall-running, Specialists and “Pick 10”. It’s all about how fast your trigger finger is, and man does it look better than ever. The textures are much sharper, with more realistic character models and well detailed environmental elements. Killstreaks have never felt better.
The COD veterans will be pleased to know that all the original 16 Modern Warfare maps will be included in the new version, though only 10 of them will be there at the launch, with the rest of the 6 being rolled out in later updates.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is set to release on 4 November along with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (but who cares about that, right?).
