The Last Of Us Part II Composer Hints A 2019 Release Date

In an interview with Argentinian radio station, The Last of Us music composer Gustavo Santaolalla may have provided some hints on when we can expect the upcoming The Last of Us Part II to release. As the original interview is in Spanish, a YouTube channel by the name of RobinGaming picked it up and made a small video, which you can watch below: Now, as the video states, Santaolalla says that the game is supposed to be completed in 2019. This could mean that it could potentially be released in the same year. However, we’d take this with a grain of salt as neither Sony nor Naughty Dog has said anything regarding a release date, and this is based on what Santaolalla knows about the progress on the project. However, he did say that titles like these need at least two years of work, and h...

Everything You Need To Know About Sony Playstation’s New CEO, John Kodera

Sony has a new ‘Big ‘ol man’, the CEO and its John Kodera, aka Tsuyoshi. He has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer and President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. recently. October 3, 2017, to be precise. Kodera is, of course, not a new member in the Sony family. In fact, he has been with Sony for almost 15 years now, since he joined Sony Corporation in 1992 and begun his career working on Sony’s portable audio devices, specifically, in Business Planning, based in Tokyo for six years before coming to the U.S. Following his tenure in the portable audio sector, Kodera served as Vice President, Business & Product Strategy, VAIO of America, with Sony Electronics (SEL) in the US. Extinction Gets Its First Gameplay Trailer

Avil is the last-remaining Sentinel and only he has the power to save humankind. Iron Galaxy presents a brand-new gameplay trailer for their upcoming action-adventure game – Extinction. Extinction places emphasis on high-speed traversal around an interactive environment. Avil must move quickly – traversing across rooftops, alongside buildings, atop man-made structures and more – to save humanity from the encroaching horde, and take down the seemingly endless waves of Ravenii using his powers as a trained Sentinel. And while the swarm of smaller minions may seem like the crisis at hand, there’s always a larger problem on the horizon. Armies of ogres are equipped with their own weapons and armour, requiring Avil to use tactical thinking, the structure of the environment, and even the enemies...

Assassin’s Creed Origins “Birth Of The Brotherhood” Trailer

In what might be a series first, Assassin’s Creed Origins pushed me to use all of the tactics at my disposal, without any prodding from the story or mission guidelines. This happened during my latest hands-on session with the game (set in the Nile Delta and Giza Plateau), somewhere around my fourth attempt to free Ghupa, an old man caged at the center of a hilltop camp. Ghupa had been kidnapped after asking too many questions about a shadowy villain known as the Scarab, a member of the mysterious Order of the Ancients whose preferred method of killing involved burying people up to their necks in the desert and leaving them to die. This fate hadn’t yet befallen Ghupa, but for now he was surrounded by a generous handful of guards – all of whom, being several levels above me, could annihilate...

Microsoft In Talks To Extend PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Exclusive Deal

The creator of the hit video game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is in talks with Microsoft about extending their agreement to publish the game exclusively on Xbox, according to people familiar with the matter. South Korea’s Bluehole has agreed to produce the game for Microsoft first by the end of the year and is likely to give the company a longer period as the solo console, said the people, asking not to be identified because the matter is private. Games are typically offered exclusively for about three months to encourage people to buy a particular console, so Xbox may have the game to itself until the middle of next year or longer. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has become this year’s surprise hit of the game industry, selling 13 million copies and shattering records for personal-compute...
