Dying Light PC system requirements announced
Developer Techland yesterday announced the official list of required PC specs for its new zombie survival game, Dying Light. The specs listed below differ from the game’s Steam product page, but these specs were shared via the game’s official forums on Friday, December 5, and should be considered the ‘final’ official list. The studio has set a number of lofty goals for its 2015 shooter, and chief among these is ensuring the player is always in control. That means no interrupting animations, no path blocking obstacles and the utmost precision when it comes to reticule position (ie, it stays static under all circumstances). Revealed Warcraft Movie Posters
The first two posters for Universal’s forthcoming movie adaptation of Warcraft. The one-sheets below (via) come on the heels of yesterday’s announcement at BlizzCon of two promotional sites tied to the Duncan Jones-directed feature film. The sites’ names, Fight for the Alliance and Fight for the Horde, are also the tag lines on the posters.Warcraft is scheduled to hit theaters March 11, 2016.
Blizzard reveals Overwatch, a team-based competitive FPS
Launching its beta in 2015, Overwatch looks a bit like Blizzard’s more sci-fi/fantasy-inspired take on Team Fortress 2 with two teams of six duking it out. Blizzard described the game’s premise with the following passage: “In a time of global crisis, an international task force of soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and oddities known as Overwatch had come together to restore peace to a war-torn world. Ryse’s PC version removes microtransactions ahead of launch
Ryse: Son of Rome will not feature microtransactions in its PC version, due to launch on Oct. 10. Developer Crytek noted the change in a blog post about features for this version. Four DLC packs that shipped separately for the Xbox One version will be made available, for free, all at once. The DLC added the Survival Mode to the game’s multiplayer, plus more than a dozen maps and five additional skins. The game also will feature advanced graphics support, which includes supporting 4K resolution. Ryse‘s microtransactions on Xbox One allowed users to use real money to purchase in-game currency, which was then used to rank up their character’s stats.
