Batman: Arkham Origins – The Making of Copperhead
A special behind-the-scenes look at the introduction of Copperhead in the game. One of the assassins out to collect the bounty on Batman’s head, Copperhead is agile, venomous, and ultimately one of the biggest threats to the Dark Knight. PS4, GTA 5 were most searched in Google under gaming for 2013
It may not come as a surprise to many of us that this year the PlayStation 4 and Grand Theft Auto V were the top gaming-themed Google searches for 2013 in America, according to the company’s annual Zeitgeist report which was released earlier this week. GTA V took the number one spot for the most searches in the the Video Games category, while the PS4 took the top spot in the Tech Gadgets sector, beating Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5S. The Xbox One was the fourth biggest trending search for Consumer Electronics on a worldwide basis, but was not featured in any United States-specific lists. Ubisoft’s Holiday Gift to Players: 50% Off Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Plus Other Big Discounts WHAT? Ubisoft is treating players to a holiday surprise by slashing prices on Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. For the next 48 hours, players can take advantage of a 50% discount on the Sony PS3 version of the game. Dying Light Night-time Gameplay Walkthrough
Dying Light is a first-person action survival horror game set in a dangerous open world. During the day, players traverse an expansive city overrun by the outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to fight the growing infected population. At night, the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Players must use everything in their power to survive till dawn. This gameplay video gives a glimpse into different strategies that players will adopt depending on the time of day in order to survive. Dying Light comes to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in 2014.
Ubisoft reportedly working on two Assassin’s Creed games for 2014.
Examiner sources said to be familiar with these upcoming projects, one is being developed for the next gen consoles, while the other is being developed for PS3 and Xbox 360. There is really no mention in the report of how PC and Wii U fit into these projects, which also claims that the franchise “is under a massive re-scope”. When approached yesterday about the claims made in the report, a spokesperson for Ubisoft told CVG the company doesn’t comment on rumours or speculation. Sometime in November, Ubisoft senior vice president of sales and marketing Tony Key said that the need to cater to the large Xbox 360 and PS3 installed bases had held back the Xbox One and PS4 version of Assassin’s Creed 4. Cut the Rope 2 for iOS out now
The wait is finally over now as ZeptoLab has released the follow-up to its popular physics-based puzzler Cut the Rope on the App Store yesterday. The main aim of Cut the Rope 2 remains the same, as in players are still tasked with collecting candy for Om Nom, but the addition this time around is that Om Nom is joined by a bunch of that supporting characters called Toss, Boo and Blue. The puzzle designs in the original Cut the Rope were sublime, introducing new mechanics and trickier challenges at a suitable pace. If Cut the Rope 2 turns out to be even half as good, then this would be a perfect game for you to download on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch over the holidays. The Secret Connection b/w ASC and Watch Dogs
It’s been a while now that we’re hearing about whether or not there lies some sort of connection between two of Ubisoft front-liner games. There has been some speculation regarding whether Ubisoft’s upcoming hacker-centric Watch Dogs is set in the same universe as Assassin’s Creed. Watch Dogs is about a hacker who fights the powers of a corrupt city and the company that controls it. And if you think about it, Assassin’s Creed too has hackers fighting one front of a war against a corrupt and controlling corporation. Ok Gamers you can have your war about which console is better but Sony is here with it’s flagship gaming device the PS4 in India. Sony has pipped rival Microsoft by bringing its latest gaming console, the PlayStation 4, to the Indian market. There are many reasons to buy the console, which will be available from January 6 next year. An awesome gaming experience tops that list. But with a standalone tag of Rs 39,990, price is certainly not one of them. During the launch, Sony PlayStation’s country head Atindriya Bose blamed taxes in India for the premium. Just Cause 2 Multiplayer Mod now out on Steam
With its beta complete, the long awaited Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod, JC2-MP, is now out for download through Steam. Modders have sure taken their own sweet time on this, considering the game was released in March 2010. However, the result is a free download for anyone who owns Just Cause 2 on PC — console versions aren’t supported. The base game is currently on sale on Steam until December 19 for $2.99, a pretty insane deal for a game which showed a lot of promise as a single-player-only title.
