The Elder Scrolls Online trailer May Blow Your Mind

While we won’t experience anything quite as awesome as the trailer below, the game itself has a lot of promise. Bethesda’s poor decision to go with the archaic subscription fee model is unfortunate, but then again, we suppose they had to find a way to pay for all that top-tier voice talent. John Cleese, Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, Alfred Molina, Michael Gambon, Malcom McDowell and Peter Stormare all have starring roles on it. The Elder Scrolls Online arrives on PC on April 4th, with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions following in June.Elder Scrolls Online for PC will be available on 4th April, 2014 and priced at Rs. 3499 and the PlayStation 4 version will hit the Indian Market in June 2014 at Rs. 4799 through e-xpress Interactive Software Pvt. Is TripTrap The Next Angry Birds?

Angry Birds wasn’t the first “sling an object to break a structure” game. There were others well before it (specifically Crush The Castle) but Angry Birds took that and packaged it in neat graphics, cute characters, slight variations to gameplay and — the most important aspect, in my opinion — the perfect level of difficulty. That’s what TripTrap hopes to bring to the iPhone and iPad, all over again. Meet Jerry Ched The lead character of the game is a hungry mouse named Ched in search of some cheese. And he’ll probably seem familiar to you — the guy is clearly inspired by Jerry from the Tom & Jerry cartoons. In fact, the whole colour scheme and art style of the game will take you back to MGM’s classic cartoon series. But hey, that’s not a bad thing! Ched’s movements and facial expressi...

Class- action for Grand Theft Auto Online dismissed

According to Game Politics, a class-action lawsuit filed against Rockstar Games and Take-Two has been dismissed by a US District Court in California. The plaintiffs argued that Rockstar and Take-Two failed to deliver the full, promised Grand Theft Auto 5 experience – in specific reference to the online portion of the game, GTA Online. The suit claimed the state of Grand Theft Auto 5 at launch last September was “unlawful,” “unfair” and “fraudulent” on the part of Take-Two and Rockstar. Judge Virginia A. Phillips didn’t approve of this as there is no language on the Grand Theft Auto 5 packaging guaranteeing the online portion of the game “immediately.” Source:  David Hinkle

Payday 2 ‘s second weapon pack out in Feb

Another pack of gear is going to be introduced to Payday 2 sometime in February, courtesy of Gage the weapons dealer. Following up on his first premium offering, his second weapons pack introduces some new light machine guns, knives and the Cloaker – a new enemy police unit. Not much is known about Cloakers, but what we do know is that you’ll hear “a faint hissing whine” when they’re near. The light machine guns, though have a  large magazine size, take a decent time to reload. The knives have a whole new dynamic, a new charge attack that can knock down enemies, so the longer you hold down the melee button, the stronger the attack. And obviously they put in four new masks, along with new patterns and materials to customize them. The Gage weapon pack 2 DLC will be av...

The Order: 1886 — “Sony’s First Naughty Dog Game”

So there is a rumor going around in the twittersphere about the way The Order: 1886 is being privately defined in a rather interesting way: The Order is being described privately jokingly as Sony’s first Naughty Dog game. Take that for whatever it means graphically.   Whatever comes from “insider” isn’t usually the way it seems and is always something else to it, but it’s actually pretty easy to understand. They’re probably referring to the cinematic approach that The Order 1886 has taken and that it resembles Naughty Dog’s game quite closely.   Source: dualshockers

The Room 2 to unlock for iPhone

The Room 2 is going to be available for download on iPhone from today, i.e the 30th of January. The first version of the game had come out on the iPad which was launched sometime in December and was priced at  £2.99. And Android users will have to wait as a launch is scheduled “on or before 14th February”, said developer Fireproof Studios. The Room 2 is a sequel to the studio’s original The Room, which had won the Best British Game BAFTA at last year’s awards.   “Crafting a sequel to a bite-sized surprise hit is never easy,” Dan Whitehead said. “Fireproof has taken a conservative approach that avoids those pitfalls, but it hasn’t abandoned ambition in the process. I doubt the structural integrity of The Room would survive another extensi...

New screenshots for Witcher 3

CD Projekt Red has revealed three new screenshots of The Witcher 3. The first picture show Geralt riding on a horse into what remained of a bloody battle, which also shows a headless corpse, face down in the mud. In the second picture you see Geralt exploring a typical Witcher city street, and happens to walk in on two thugs beating a victim. You can see his hands reaching for his sword, ready to step in. The final shot is of Geralt again on a horse around a swamp area, but isn’t the only one there.   The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is in development for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It doesn’t have a release date beyond 2014, which means we’ve got a decent amount of time to wait. Source: Eurogamer
