Best Upcoming Mobile Games In 2017 That You Must Play

Mobile games have taken the global gaming market by storm. The gaming demographic has expanded at a rate like it had never before. Since then gaming has seen a new class of gamers emerge. This new breed is known as casual gamers, which comprise of your mum who spends hours on end playing Candy Crush.

On that note, here are the best upcoming mobile games in 2017 that you must play. These are games for both Android and iOS.

Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run created quite the hype back in September 2016 when it was first announced at Apple’s keynote because this was the first time that Mario left the Nintendo platform and enter the iOS and Android domain. Though the game has been on iOS since December 2016, Android users are still to experience the game.

Following a successful iOS release, Nintendo has added a pre-roder listing for Super Mario Run on Android, giving interested users a chance to sign-up for Google Play release date notification. There is no specific release date mentioned.

The Bunker

The Bunker is described as a live action game where players assume the roles of the last remaining survivors of a nuclear bunker.The game takes place 30 years after the blast destroys earth. You follow a daily routine of checking bodies and when the alarm is triggered you traverse into the deep and long-forgotten bunker to reveal it’s darkest secrets.

Exploration and survival is the key to the game as players need to make quick decisions to escape the Bunker alive.

Planet of Heroes

Planet of Heroes

This game is generating a lot of interest on the internet as it is being described as a PC-quality MOBA for mobile devices. The developers have come up with a system that will let you take on other players online, should you be in the mood but also lets you battle against AI when you want a quick game.

Users can join Early Access and play the game while the developers wrap up the game. The game will have bugs in it, no doubt but you’ll get to play it a couple of months before everybody else.

Alto’s Odyssey

Alto’s Adventure was probably one of the best games, if not the best to have come out in 2015. Following the success of that game, developer Built by Snowman has announced the sequel – Alto’s Odyssey. They had teased a promotional image of the sequel on Instagram, which did showcase a possible new location but didn’t provide us with too much other information.

The upcoming game will be will be worked on by the original team which to a certain level guarantee the success of the game. There is no word on the release date as of now and at this point it only seems to be an iOS exclusive.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Telltale Games have had a lot of success with their Telltale series like Batman, The Walking Dead, Game of Throne etc. The developer is now focusing it’s sights on Marcel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Following a similar structure, players will assume multiple roles within the GOTG team and be in charge of decision-making roles to determine the outcome of the game.

Telltale Games has been pretty quiet about this new development but haven’t mentioned a release date yet, only confirming the game will come out in 2017.

Transformers: Forged to Fight

This exciting new action-fighting RPG brings heroic storytelling and spectacular robot-vehicle action from about 30 years of Transformers history. You can take part in intense one-on-one combat, form alliances and battle against others in stunning environments.

Players will build teams of Autobots and Decepticons to take on a group of corrupted Transformers. The game is set to appear on both android and iOS platforms, however android users can participate in the open beta right now.

  1. Really looking forward to Shadowgun Legends, Madfinger Games have really outdone themselves with the graphics this time and the multiplayer features look step or two ahead compared to other action games available on mobile. Either way, this year is going to be a blast!
