The highly anticipated FPS title, Battlefield 1 will enter open beta starting tomorrow, 31 August across the three platforms (PS 4, Xbox One and PC). According to a twitter post from the official Battlefield 1 account, players on the Playstation won’t need a PS Plus subscription to take part in the beta but those playing on the Xbox One will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to access the multiplayer.

DICE and EA have not made an official announcement as to when the beta will get over. Everyone who signed up for the Battlefield Insider program will receive the codes one day earlier, meaning starting today. However, you do not need any codes to play the open beta in general.
What to Expect From the Open Beta:
Battlefield 1’s open beta will offer two playable modes: Rush, a 24-player mode and Conquest, a 64-player mode. Players shall battle in the Sinai Desert map which features a massive armoured train, horseback combat, dynamic weather and aerial combat.
The game is set to release on 21 October for the PC, Xbox One and PS4. The first expansion for the title is already confirmed, which will introduce the French army, scheduled for release in 2017.
