India, March 14 th , 2022: ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), the No.1 Gaming Laptop brand, celebrated International Women’s Day month with the #WomenInEsports campaign. The brand hosted a first-of-its- kind All-Women ROG Showdown to celebrate
the #WomenInEsports with 75 women-only participants across Southeast Asia nations such as India, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia. The winning team –Nigma Galaxy from Singapore, took home prize money of INR 50,000 followed by the first runner-up team – VLT Asteria from India won INR 25,000.
The 3-day Valorant tournament kick-started with Qualifiers on March 07, Semi-Finals on 9 March and Grand Finale on 10th March where the budding women esports athletes got a chance to experience ASUS celebrated ROG property, ROG Showdown. The tournament received an overwhelming response from the gaming community across nations and stood as a testimony to ASUS’ commitment towards building a strong gaming ecosystem in India, by raising the bar of the esports infrastructure that wants to help raise awareness and enhance diversity.

#WomenInEsports tournament received immense love and support from Industry professionals and livestream matches were viewed by 25k people during the finale. The campaign reached to more than 1.5lac audience creating good engagement amongst the esports community. To bring more thrill and fun experience, ASUS had also on-boarded female casters for the event.
