Coming from Ninja Theory, the makers of Heavenly Sword, DmC: Devil May Cry and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Hellblade: Sanua’s Sacrifice is a highly anticipated title releasing next week. Recently, the studio announced in a press release that players on the PS4 Pro will be able to choose between an enhanced resolution and 60 FPS to the run game on the console, but didn’t go into the specifics.
According to an interview with Ninja Theory co-founder and the game’s Creative Director Tameem Antoniades, wccfTech was able to confirm that the aforementioned enhanced resolution is 2560 x 1440 (or 1440p in short). So, PS4 Pro players have a nice option to choose, between the resolution and the framerate. It was also confirmed that at launch the game wouldn’t support HDR displays, but it is on the devs’ list as they want to see how it would affect a game that focuses so much on image quality.
