Playground Games hires GTA V, Metal Gear Solid and Hellblade devs for open-world action RPG Forza Horizon developer also secures new 200-person studio, which will bring headcount up to 400. Hellblade Can Run On The PS4 Pro At 1440p, Says Ninja Theory
Coming from Ninja Theory, the makers of Heavenly Sword, DmC: Devil May Cry and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, Hellblade: Sanua’s Sacrifice is a highly anticipated title releasing next week. Recently, the studio announced in a press release that players on the PS4 Pro will be able to choose between an enhanced resolution and 60 FPS to the run game on the console, but didn’t go into the specifics. According to an interview with Ninja Theory co-founder and the game’s Creative Director Tameem Antoniades, wccfTech was able to confirm that the aforementioned enhanced resolution is 2560 x 1440 (or 1440p in short).
