In another major hit to Denuvo’s latest protection suite for video games, Prey has been cracked and is now available to download on popular torrent sites. Developed by Arkane Studios, the studio behind games like Dishonored and Dishonored 2, and published by Bethesda, Prey had only been out for just 10 days. The game also had the latest version of Denuvo protecting it from being tampered with. However, that has done little in preventing hackers (crackers?) from getting to it, and releasing the cracked version of the game.

It doesn’t matter because the developers screwed the PC port. They say that your save games start getting corrupt and there’s nothing you can do about it. So, even though it’s a loss to PC gamers who buy the original game who can get help from Bethesda but for the ‘Crackers’, it’s pure villainy.
