The official gameplay video for Warner Bros and Monolith’s upcoming title Shadow of War is supposed to be released on 8th March. Building up to the hype, the publisher has released a short ( I mean, really really short) teaser that offers a glimpse of what we can expect from the game.
The teaser doesn’t reveal much (You don’t say , huh) but it does have something really cool. Talion can be seen riding a winged beast majestically over the battlefield, possibly a drake, which gives me hope that we might actually get to do that in the game. The five second clip closes with the ranger raising his sword in the air as an army of Orcs can be seen behind him.
Shadow of War is the sequel to 2014’s Shadow of Middle Earth, and was announced last week following a leak. It is set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and expands upon the first title’s Nemesis system, creating a unique experience for each player. It is set to release for the Windows PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 22nd August.
