Yookah-Laylee, the colourful platformer from Team 17 and Playtonic Games has received a new gameplay trailer, showing off its multiplayer and local co-op features.
Taking place in Rextro’s Radical Arcade, you can play eight multiplayer games with up to three friends in local co-op. Some of the games include:
- Glaciators: A brawler arena that tasks players with gathering more quills than other competitors.
- Blag the Flag: Yooka-Laylee’s version of Capture the Flag.
- Kartos Karting: Leave your friends in dust in this racing mini-game.
- Gun-let Run: Shoot ’em up, bring ’em down

Team 17 said in an official statement, “Word has it that those who are able to find and collect the special play coins within Yooka-Laylee’s extensive single player campaign will even be able to power up the arcade cabinets located within the mysterious book worlds for a chance to win some sought-after pagies,”
These arcade games aren’t the only multiplayer focused elements. You can also partner up with your friends in the central story, taking on the game’s main adventure in co-op.
