Many around the world would say that 2016 was a bad year. This year witnessed the loss of legends like Gene Wilder, Muhammad Ali, Prince, Alan Rickman, David Bowie to name a few.
On the contrary, it’s been a good year in gaming so far. 2016 has seen the release of some popular titles like Far Cry Primal, Dark Souls III, Uncharted 4, Doom, Overwatch, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The year has also seen some good Indie games like Oxenfree, Firewatch, and That Dragon, Cancer to name a few. These assortment of games go across genres and platforms, appealing to gamers of all sorts.
The best part is that the year isn’t over yet, still got about a month and a half left for game releases.
Watch Dogs 2
With a new protagonist, new setting and an assortment of new gadgets, Watch Dogs 2 is all set to come to our screens halfway into November. Watch Dogs 2 seems like a slightly more refined version of it’s predecessor. Let’s just hope the saying is true–once you go black, you never go back.

Gran Turismo Sport
This game will feature three game modes — Campaign, Sports Mode and Arcade Mode. The game will also have both online and offline racing games. GT Sport is being described as different from the “prologue” titles seen in the past in the series and will be set to feature more content.

Final Fantasy XV
The well known and beloved franchise, Final Fantasy is set to be added to with a new game for the new generation consoles later this year. It’s an open world adventure that is the first of the numbered series to feature action-oriented combat. Needless to say it looks pretty neat.

Dead Rising 4
This game is sort of in a league of its own. Dead Rising 4 will feature the return of Frank West and is set in a Christmas-themed Willamette, Colorado. You will assume the role of photojournalist Frank West who returns home during the winter season, which has been overrun by zombies.

South Park: The fractured But Whole
This time around the kids are posing as superheroes. You will be playing as the new kid who tries hard to fit in with the kid’s superhero gang. If you’ve been a fan of South Park, you know what to expect. If this cartoon is new to you, you’re going to be in for a nice surprise.
