Sunset Overdrive might have a PC port soon :)

Sunset Overdrive is an fun and action packed Xbox One exclusive, but considering Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3 switched sides less than a year after being available only on Xbox One, many have wondered if the same thing will happen to Sunset Overdrive.   “I don’t know what the future holds, right now there’s no plans for a PC version of the game,” community and marketing lead James Stevenson told Videogamer. “We’re just working hard to finish up [the Xbox One version]. We’re going to support it post-launch and then we’ll see what happens in the future. But there’s no plans. We aren’t planning a PC version or anything like that.” Do you expect Sunset Overdrive to make the jump to PC eventually? Rainbow 6: Patriots in Development

Ubisoft’s Rainbow 6: Patriots, in its previously announced incarnation, “wasn’t working,” president of Ubisoft North America Laurent Detoc told IGN. The project is in the process of being remade, he said, adding, “If it doesn’t work, we’re not going to bring it to you.” Since being announced in November 2011, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6: Patriots “got caught in the transition of going to next-gen,” Ubisoft senior vice president Tony Key said earlier this year. “Sometimes you have to take a step back and go ‘you know, I’m seeing the possibilities, but it’s gonna take more time,'” he said. Detoc said Patriots might ultimately arrive under another name entirely, and with very different mechanics. “...

Rockstar might be working on the next gen Red Dead Redemption

Now that GTA 5 has launched, could an announcement for Red dead redemption be on cards.  The  rumors have started with a listing on the LinkedIn profile of Rockstar New England employee Doron Feinstein, which mentions the “next version of a famous IP”, in development since at least September 2010. Could John or Jack Marston be getting ready to ride again? One small and decidedly vague sentence isn’t much to go on, granted, but when it’s combined with various other bits and bobs gleaned over the last year or more, it certainly begins to look like a Red Dead Redemption sequel isn’t a case of if, but of when. First off, Rockstar began hiring for a next generation console project way back at the start of 2012, long before the Xbox One had been revealed and way bef...

Watch Dogs might hamper Xbox One & PS4 sales

“The delayed release of much-hyped open worlder Watch Dogs will take a bite out of next generation console sales. There’s a lot of interconnections between the things you can control in the game and how the story then unfolds, so I can only assume there’s some factor with the incredibly complex open-world gameplay that’s off. But there’s no reason Ubisoft can’t still deliver what they hoped to do with this game.” The game was originally down to release in November, in time for the launch of Xbox One and PS4, but will now see daylight in spring 2014. Ubisoft has also pushed back its next gen open world racer The Crew from mid to late 2014. Discussing both delays in an earnings call, CEO Yves Guillemot insisted that this would help the publisher’...

EA Canada is also including exterior shots for the stadiums including Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. FIFA 14 also has enhancements in physics and AI provided by the next-generation EA Sports Ignite engine. Due to the fact that it can anticipate where players are going to be, it can calculate appropriate interactions and reactions on the fly. You’ll see virtual footballers avo...
