Ubisoft revealed an exclusive multiplayer trailer for Watch Dogs 2, showcasing the various multiplayer modes available to players. Following suit, the sequel to the critically acclaimed title Watch Dogs will let you play online without having bothered to sit in lobbies. In addition to that, you can partner up with a friend to undertake co-op missions or simply go about enjoying the sights.
There will also be modes that will pit players against each other, with World Invasions making a return as well. World Invasions task the player with hacking someone else without being identified or caught. And those who like create a little ruckus in their own games shall be penalized as well; hurting too many innocent bystanders will lead to a bounty being put on your head. This will enable other players to invade your world and track you down for a reward. Here’s what the video description says: “Watch the first look into the multiple mode online experience of Watch Dogs 2. With no lobbies to wait in, co-op and PvP multiplayer activities are seamlessly woven into the overall single-player experience. Playing co-op missions with a friend or enjoying co-op activities with a random encounter is a simple invite away. Watch out, though: rival hackers can invade worlds (and vice-versa), and with the brand new Bounty Hunt feature, bounty seekers can be seen will be on the hunt for players creating high levels of chaos.”
Watch Dogs 2 will be released on the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Pc on November 15.
