Ark: Survival Evolved is survival multiplayer open world game in which you can tame dinosaurs, make tribes, etc. It’s currently in Early Access and is available to be purchased on steam. My life as a Dino-hunter started few days back with one of my friends, Miz, who named himself as Serious Sam in the world of dinosaurs.
Upon starting, I first entered an unofficial server with some huge multipliers because of which my friend Sam had paradise with a huge base, dinosaurs, rafts, etc. You name it, he had it. Then later on we talked a bit and came to an agreement that we’ll start new in a new server, which was also unofficial but didn’t have so many multipliers which could make the journey easy for us. Fast forward a bit and here I was in a new server spawning in South Zone 3 letter instructed by my friend so we could meet each other.
As my character woke up, I instantly opened my map and told my friend Sam the coordinates and 10 minutes later he found me and then set off to find a place where we could create a base, where we would eventually store up our resources and have dinosaurs stay nearby. After setting the base we were off to gather wood, thatch and berries etc.
After getting enough resources we start creating walls, foundations, etc and tada! Our base was set. Now it was time to create some weapons such as slingshot, so we could make dinosaurs go unconscious so that they could be tamed. After creating 2 slingshots, one for each, and getting enough stones we set out on a hunt for our first dinosaur minion. We started our journey and reached to tropical area which was quite near to our base, which in future will help us a lot. Anyways, as we went on we saw a level 25 Dilophosaurus and without wasting any time we equipped our slingshots and went on for the battle.
Did we get the Dilpho or did we turn into its food instead? Find out in the next part of Dino Diaries!
