French actress Marion Cotillard has signed up for a role in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie. According to Deadline, Ubisoft and production company The New Regency still have to reveal her role in the movie.
Cotillard and her co-star Michael Fassbender both acted together in an upcoming adaptation of Macbeth, which also happened to be directed by Justin Kurzel who is the director of the Assassin’s Creed Movie.
Marion Cotillard is known for her role in The Dark Knight Rises, Inception and also for the Oscar winning role as singer Édith Piaf in 2007’s biopic La vie en Rose.
Last week I posted an article about the movie officially entering its production stage. The movie, produced by New Regency and 20th Century Fox, will hit theaters on December 21, 2016.
