At the Windows 10 event, Phil Spencer from Microsoft disclosed that the Windows 10 operating system will support Xbox One game streaming later in the year.
“Wouldn’t it be great if we could play those [Xbox One games] anywhere in the house?” said Mr. Spencer.
The new operating system will allow you to stream games to Windows 10 PCs and tablets. At this point it doesn’t look like the streaming functionality will work on Windows Phones, though that feature may come later
Once you’ve synced your Xbox One with any other device, say for example a Surface Pro 3, you will be able to stream games.
“We have to put the gamer at the center of every experience,” Spencer said as he closed his presentation. He added that Microsoft will talk more about it Xbox One-to-PC game-streaming service later this year during the Game Developers Conference in March.
