Unmonkey Gaming Merchandise Review

Unmonkey Gaming Merchandise Review

We are continuing with the whole gaming clothing line thing and this time we’ve got a pretty rad company for you. These guys are Unmonkey and they’ve got quite an interesting philosophy that they follow.  Their main agenda is to create a new trend in fashion and style by simply putting down creative designs on some quality t-shirts. Sounds fairly straightforward right? That’s cause it is. They feel that the “monkey see monkey do” mindset of people has to change, so as to live more fulfilling lives, and their name pertains to this exact train of thought.  The two geniuses behind all this are Nithun and Aditya who we believe are from down south in Chennai.  So these guys have just started off, how about we go ahead and be nice people by liking their page on facebook.

Content: Their packaging is quite unique. It came delivered to us in a black florescent paper with their personalized sticker acting as the piece of tape that holds everything together. Maybe not the most secure style of packing but definitely creative, and plus they’re clothing items, we’re pretty sure nothing will happen to them while being delivered. But from the moment you open the packaging you’ll notice how they pay attention to detail. Its the small things that really got us to like the product. You’ll find the tee folded in a plastic covering, which once we unfolded found a little “Boxbot”, behind which they’ve got a appreciation letter asking for comments and feedback.

Design and Quality: The tees are quite simple looking, which in many ways is quite appealing. There is not a lot of color on the tee to make it too flashy or in your face types. The ideas and designs that get printed on to the tee are quite simple and require a certain amount of gaming knowledge to understand. When I wore the t-shirt, it felt quite soft and the quality of the tee was very good. The inside of the t-shirt said “WARNING: Side effects may include awesomeness”–this is what we like about these chaps! Its just those little things. We have three t-shirts from them–the black one making a DOTA reference, the grey one referring to Counter Strike and the white one needs no explanation, I mean almost any gamer would know which game is portrayed when they are shown a biker with a chain. And you can get these for Rs. 550 a piece

Our Verdict: The t-shirts are nice, the quality is nice, the designs are nice, the company is nice. So its a yes from us. Do go out and get yourselves one of these. And if you care to take our advice we’d say white, black and grey go almost with anything….haha

And we are going to be giving away these very t-shirts on the forum very soon, so watch out for them!
