We all love to slay noobs while sipping Mountain Dew and eating Doritos (or Uncle Chips in India), and for those looking to do more of that, here are the top 10 multiplayer games coming in 2017. Also, we’ve thrown in a few honorable mentions at the end, for those who just can’t get enough.

Destiny 2
Yes, it’s finally confirmed, and set to release in September. Hopefully this time around we have a more meatier base game with more varied and interesting locations, and a stronger story. I really want to see more of what they did with The Taken King DLC. The initial reveal trailer did show that the game might lean more towards a lighter tone, which is something I’d appreciate. For how split gamers are about how they feel about Destiny, the game really had some great things going on for it, including excellent FPS mechanics and interesting lore. And Bungie has shown that it’s more than capable of delivering an epic sci-fi space saga.
Star Wars Battlefront 2
While the hype for Star Wars Battlefront running on the Frostbite Engine was huge, and the game did have a very competent multiplayer offering, lack of a single player campaign held it back from attaining the massive audience and following that Star Wars usually gets. Earlier Star Wars Battlefront games, and even KOTOR 1 and KOTOR 2 were all excellent titles that did justice to the Star Wars name. With a robust single player campaign Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be able to bring in fans that love the world and lore of Star Wars, with a strong multiplayer element to keep them coming back.
Splatoon 2
Return to Inkopolis with Splatoon, and be ready to experience a unique flavor of multiplayer combat in Splatoon 2. For the first time, take Turf War battles on-the-go with the Nintendo Switch system, and use any of the console’s portable play styles for intense local multiplayer action. Even team up for new 4-player co-op fun in Salmon Run!
Agents Of Mayhem
Set in the Saint’s Row universe, Agents Of Mayhem is an open world third person action game with shooting mechanics and abilities mixed in. Your goal is to stop The League of Evil Gentleman Intent On Obliterating Nations, or The LEGION.
Red Dead Redemption 2
While gamers have already speculating about Red Dead Redemption 2 based on the short teaser trailer revealed earlier, it does seem like Rockstar aims to build it’s biggest open world yet with this game. I personally can’t be more excite to jump back into the wild west and deliver outlaw justice to those who have it coming.
Tekken 7
Discover the epic conclusion of the Mishima clan and unravel the reasons behind each step of their ceaseless fight. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, TEKKEN 7 features stunning story-driven cinematic battles and intense duels that can be enjoyed with friends and rivals alike through innovative fight mechanics.

Call Of Duty: WW2
Well, Activision wasn’t kidding when they said that they intended to take Call Of Duty back to its roots. Rumors are abound of the next Call Of Duty being set during the World War 2, with leaked artwork and box art making the rounds. Well, there definitely a Call Of Duty coming, and Sledgehammer’s last entry, Advanced Warfare, was well received, so here’s to hoping.
