Xbox Live Gold Games for July 2015
For the month of July, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag ($29.99 ERP) for free during the month of July. So Many Me ($14.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from July 16th to August 15th. On Xbox 360, starting Wednesday, July 1st, Plants vs. Zombies ($14.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through July 15th. Then on July 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Gears of War 3 ($19.99 ERP) for free through July 31st. E3 Diary: Clash of the Titans Pt. 2 (Microsoft)
Microsoft dominated the floor with their show today, announcing not only games for Xbox One, but also for the Hololens and Windows 10. A healthy mix of not only new games, but also new features for the Xbox One was announced at the show. The most surprising and welcome of these announcements was Backwards Compatibility with Xbox 360 games. Ubisoft Is Done With Last Gen Consoles
Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 owners were dealt with the biggest blow to date. Just days ago, Ubisoft Games announced that they are done developing games for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. Several outlets have reported the news, including Forbes. Ubisoft will be releasing all of their games, including the critically acclaimed Assassin’s Creed series exclusively for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The only game that Ubisoft will develop for the last generation consoles is the Just Dance series. What that means for owners of the Xbox 360 and PS3 is that they will have to upgrade their gaming systems if they want the latest Assassin’s Creed game release. Ubisoft is also behind the “Far Cry”, “Watch Dogs” and “AC” series.
Mortal Kombat X Kollectors Edition will be available in India starting Rs 5999
Mortal Kombat X Â is an upcoming fighting video game currently in development by NetherRealm Studios. It is the tenth main title in the Mortal Kombat series, with a release scheduled for April 14, 2015. The game is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will be ported to Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by High Voltage Software. A mobile version for iOS and Android devices is being developed by NetherRealm’s mobile team. Batman: Arkham Universe book gets release date
Like a lot of you guys, we are crazy Bat Fanatics 🙂 So here is some crazy news for all of you. It looks like another book based on the Arkham videogames will be released this year. According to Amazon’s listing, DK is going to publish Batman: Arkham Universe: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which has an ISBN-10 of 1465428275 in addition to an ISBN-13 of 978-1465428271. Titanfall’s DLC IMC Rising Coming to Xbox 360
Respawn Entertainment has finally announced that Titanfall’s third DLC expansion. IMC Rising, will launch for Xbox 360 on the 21st of October. The DLC was released for Xbox One and PC back in September. The DLC was first heard of in Gamescon in August where it was officially announced. It features three maps–Backwater, Zone 18, and Sandtrap. IMC Rising is the third expansion included with the $25 Titanfall DLC pass. Those who don’t own the pass can buy IMC Rising for $10 a piece. But if you’re absolutely certain that you want all three, then the pass saves you $5. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Updated Release Dates
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will take more time in development, and the release dates for these versions are moving to 18th November in the America and 21st November in India. The street dates for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One remain 30th September in the America and October 3rd in India. PC and Steam versions are now slated for release in the America and Europe on 30th September. New Cars Confirmed For Forza Horizon 2
Just under a month left now for Forza Horizon 2’s release and Microsoft has now revealed more cars that will be available with the game at launch. According to this graphic, the game will have 241 cars, out of which they have announced 210 till date. All of the cars have been “built specifically for the next generation,” Microsoft says in a post on the game’s website today. The list, which includes vehicles dating back to the 1950s up to present day, showcases all the cars that Microsoft has confirmed will appear in the game. Microsoft is expected to add more vehicles to Forza Horizon 2 sometime after launch through future expansions, though this has not yet been confirmed. Assassin’s Creed “Americas” Coming To Xbox 360 & PS3 Next Month
Just today Ubisoft announced a new Assassin’s Creed bundle for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 called the “Assassin’s Creed The Americas Collection” which comes out on the 28th of October. Bundle includes copies of Assassin’s Creed III (2012), Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (2013), and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation HD (2014). The common element among these games is that they are all set in the Americas, therefore the name. But in the UK, the bundle will be know as Assassin’s Creed Birth of a New World – The American Saga.
