Mafia III Release Date: 7th October Platforms: Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC Starring Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran who has returned in hope of starting a new life…and build his own criminal empire. “The Mafia experience is about organized crime,” says game director Haden Blackman. “It’s about crime with a hierarchy, with traditions and rules. So we’re very focused on that for the story. But at the same time, we didn’t want to shy away from the reality of the time and the place. There are...
We’re excited about the return of the Titanfall franchise; even more so since we unveiled the world’s first look at Titanfall 2 running on the PC at 4K, at 60 FPS captured on an NVIDIA TITAN X GPU, the ultimate graphics card. Last month came as a huge disappointment for PC gamers when Respawn Entertainment announced that the open beta for their upcoming game Titanfall 2 won’t be available on the PC. Now, getting your hands on the game may not seem like a possibility at all, because the game won’t feature in Origin Access, or EA Access for that matter. Respawn confirmed this statement in a conversation with Gamereactor, which implies that PC and Xbox players will not get early access to Titanfall 2, neither will they be able to try it out for free. The studio did say that it might be a possibility in the future, but that won’t happen until next year at least. Titanfall 2 is set to release for the PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on 28th October. Stay tuned for further updates. For more news and r...
You may know that the highly anticipated, upcoming title Titanfall 2 recently got an open beta on the Xbox One and the PS 4. The PC was left out because the developers said that they haven’t optimized the game yet for the different possible configurations. After the tech test, as EA calls it, got over, they said that they had learned quite a few valuable things, and will add some changes before the next tech test takes place, with pilot mobility being on the top of the list. The mobility mechanics were changed to address the problems of Titanfall. “We identified two major issues we wanted to solve in Titanfall 2. The first is that a lack of player predictability would often cause players to be shot from the back or sides. While flanking is an important part of gameplay death often fe...
EA and Respawn have officially confirmed that the open beta (or technical test, as they call it) for the upcoming Titanfall 2 will take place on the PS 4 and Xbox One over the next couple of weekends. The first round will start this Friday, and includes two maps and two game modes. The next open beta will add another map and game mode, bringing the count to three each. The beta will frature pilot abilities like Pulse Blade, Grapple and Holo Point, along with two new Titans, Scorch and Ion. Here’s what EA’s description about the two betas says: Modes Bounty Hunt (5v5): A brand new mode that pits Pilots and their teammates against an opposing team as well as the Remnant Fleet. Earn bonuses by killing grunts and enemies, but make sure and deposit all your points at the bank betwee...
Unlike the first title that was completely a multiplayer experience, Titanfall 2 will include a single player campaign which will compliment the multiplayer. The fans had asked for it, the developers are giving it to them, and from the sound of it, it may turn out to be brilliant after all. In an interview with IGN, designer Mackey McCandlish stated,”I think having made as many games as some of the people on the team have, we start to look for opportunities to stretch our limbs and make something that would excite us,” McCandlish said. “We’ve all been influenced by Half-Life and Bioshock and didn’t really have the opportunity to bring that level of pacing and player-centric conflict to games like Call of Duty that are so much about a squad. So this was a reall...
A leaked image of what appears to be the poster for Titanfall 2 has just appeared on the interwebz. In this flood of leaks and rumors about video games, it’s best to take this new with a pinch of salt: “They’ve added a ton of new pilot abilities,” says a NeoGAF user, “including the addition of a grappling hook. My source said you can use it quite extensively, for getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, or tactical plays such as pulling enemies while they’re midair.” The poster has a very high probability of being official since the left half has striking resemblance to the tweet on the official Titanfall 2 Twitter post: Prepare for #Titanfall2, Pilots. https://t.co/fQJ1DUn4dy pic.twitter.com/O9V3Q8nO67 — Titanfall (@Titanfallgame) April 11, 2...
