Styx: Shards Of Darkness

Manas’ Top 20 Favorite Video Games Of 2017 (And Then Some..)

Looking back, I am surprised at how many games I was able to play and complete this year, and also how many of them were actually great. Sure, it’s easy to pick holes in even the best of them, but 2017 was truly one of the best years in Video Game history. I tried to trim list list down to 10, but I just couldn’t bring myself to cut down on the games I had an absolute blast with. Even after removing games like Cryptark, Sniper Elite 4 and Endless Space 2 (which I am managing to subtly sneak in by mentioning them here), the list just wouldn’t go below 25. Into The Shadows – Styx: Shards Of Darkness Review

Did you know that the game has an easter egg that gives you the level desinger’s address? Or that using the controller with your feet won’t give you an achievement? Or, that the jump button is not located between your ass cheeks? No? Shards of Darkness is a third-person (I mean goblin) stealth game following 2014’s Styx: Master of Shadows. In world where goblins are treated like crap, you make your way through the dark elven city of Korrangar, where the High Priestess Lyssril is plotting her way to invincibility using a new material known as Quartz. Shadows are you true ally, and deception, distraction and...

Styx: Shards Of Darkness – Discover The Skies Of Korrangar

Styx: Shards of Darkness, sequel to Cyanide Studios’ stealth hit Master of Shadows, comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in Q1 2017. Four new images show off the heavily guarded Port of Korrangar, airships in flight, and the impish nature of our green-skinned thief himself. The only thing sharper than Styx’s wit is his knife, and both will be put to the test in his deadly adventure across land, sea and sky. After taking care of business in City of Thieves Thoben, Styx agrees to steal an ambassador’s scepter – in exchange for vast quantities of highly addictive, magical Amber of course! It’s not long before this seemingly straight forward task takes an unexpected turn though, as Styx is thrust into a dangerous world of shady politics and powerful magic. This...
