Bravely Default: Fairy’s Effect Announced For Smartphones

Square Enix announced on Friday that Silicon Studio (Age of Ishtaria, Grand Sphere: Legend of the Dragon) is producing a new game in the Bravely Default franchise, titled Bravely Default Fairy’s Effect. Square Enix and Silicon Studio are developing the “fantasy RPG” for smartphones, and the game is planned for a 2017 release. Square Enix is launching a closed beta test soon for the game for Android devices for 5,000 players. The company will reveal more information on the beta test via the game’s official Twitter account. Nintendo fans, rejoice! With the unveiling of the iPhone 7 last night comes a beloved character from our childhood. As Nintendo continues to dive deeper into the world of mobile gaming, bringing along Super Mario for the ride. After the blaring success of Pokémon GO, Sony Chief Executive Kaz Hirai has said that Sony will will be aggressively entering the mobile market. InterServ’s “Heroes of the Dungeon” Action RPG Mobile Game Begins Beta
