Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Allows All Modes Across All Maps

As of today, you can play all the game modes in Gears of War: Ultimate Edition across the entire map catalogue. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition developer The Coalition has updated the game’s multiplayer portion to allow for all modes to be played across all 19 included maps. This is done by removing map restrictions from all of the game’s playlists. The Coalition is looking for feedback to see what works and what doesn’t. This is what Metal Gear Solid 5 gameplay looks like

Konami did a live demo of a Metal Gear Solid 5 mission at TGS (not a real mission, but it does take place in a real game location), running on PS4 and showing off the Fox Engine’s ability to render sunlight. Check  the video. MGS: Ground Zeroes has also received a quartet of screens, care of Konami. Killzone Mercenary Multiplayer now in Beta

Killzone: Mercenary will be launched on the PlayStation Vita on September 10, and today marks the opening of the title’s multiplayer beta. Though the test phase is currently closed, but interested gamers can get their  hands will be able to get in without a special code at the end of August. The team at Guerrilla Cambridge has put together a new developer diary to detail what players can expect. The Valor Card system rewards kills, with more money offered up for taking out someone more experienced than yourself. Single-player and multiplayer progress is steady across modes, so even without a WiFi connection, you can advance your mercenary.
