Batman Arkham Developers Working On New Game, More Details Coming Soon
We’ve all seen countless rumours and posts about a new Batman Arkham game be it the Origins sequel or even the Batman Beyond game but it was all speculation and rumours based on “leaks” from people on Reddit. However, we finally have confirmation that Rocksteady is working on a game and that when they’ll reveal it, it will blow people’s minds. Be patient, fans. Arkham Knight PC: Rocksteady “Working Like Crazy”
And in the latest chapter of the ongoing Arkham Knight PC fiasco, Rocksteady’s Sefton Hill assured affected PC gamers that Rocksteady’s “Best engineers are working like crazy” to fix the issues with the much maligned PC port of the game. WB has already taken the game off of store shelves and apologised about the disastrous PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight, and is offering refunds to affected fans. Meanwhile , Eurogamer reported that Nvidia is also working on fixing the game, as it is a Gameworks title and was bundled with their GTX 980s and 970s along with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Arkham Knight PC A Bust: Fans Batmad
Batman Arkham Knight is not enjoying a good launch on the PC. In fact, the launch is so bad, it puts to mind the launches of Assassin’s Creed: Unity and Aliens: Colonial Marines. The game uses the notorious DRM Denuvo (on top of Steam) and appears to be horribly unoptimised, with people reporting that not even a 980Ti can maintain playable framerates on even High, with numerous issues with SLI and Crossfire support (Crossfire is disabled in AMD’s Game Ready Driver, and SLI actually reduces framerate with Nvidia). Reports of stuttering and audio glitches are also numerous. There also appears to be a memory leak in the game, which causes the application to bloat to about 15GBs on RAM before crashing. Gamescom just got over and there is a lot to talk about regarding game releases and trailers. For some odd reason Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight seemed to have gone past relatively undetected on the radar as compared to other games. There are many different opinions on the upcoming Batman game. Many are of the opinion that Arkham Knight is one of the best games at the show, and with good reason. From what we could tell not only from the pictures but from others who actually played the game, it is pretty awesome. But there are certain aspects that go potentially take a turn for the worst and kill the games hype. Batman has been most people’s favorite hero.
