It looks like there’s no end to this hype train. PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds is a relatively new game, launched only about 5 months ago. Within that short time period, the game has sold over 8 million copies, Game Director Brendan Greene confirmed at Gamescom. The funny part? The game is still in Early Access on Steam. Additionally, the team also announced that Microsoft will be the publisher when the game releases on the Xbox One, and it will be a part of the Xbox Game Preview program.
