Crytek’s upcoming PlayStation VR project, Robinson: The Journey may not have been a launch title for the PS VR, but the wait is over. The highly anticipated dinosaur themed sci-fi adventure is set to launch in November, according to the game’s Twitter account. The game seems to be a great platform to show off the PS 4’s VR capabilities, where players can explore an alive environment, aided by a robot guide somewhat similar to Portal 2. In addition to The Climb, this project marks two games that Crytek is developing for VR. Though Robinson is exclusive to the PS VR, The Climb will be available for the Oculus Rift. It also marks the second time that the studio will be shifting focus in recent years, the first time being shortly before the launch of Crysis 3, when CEO Cebat...

We have seen a ton of content from Battlefield 1 in the past few weeks, and it seems like the game has much more in store for us. As DICE claims, this may be the best single player campaign the company has ever made. It seems that the game may also feature what is the smallest gun in the history of guns. Known as the 2.7mm Kolibri Car Pistol, it fires a three grain projectile at about 650 feet per second, and was manufactured shortly before WW1. The production was ceased due to demand for military weapons for the war. However, the Battlefield 1 universe deems the gun fit for use in battle, and you can have it. The gun reminds us of the Noisy Cricket from Men In Black, but doesn’t seems to half as powerful. It seems fair, though, considering you won’t be fighting aliens in WW1. ...
On its Kickstarter page, developer Gin Media announced that their upcoming horror-fest, Friday the 13th: The Game has been delayed to 2017. The game was originally intended to release this year, but a delay means that the studio can now work on a single player mode. Additionally, offline bots can also be added along the multiplayer. The game will be released initially in Spring, with multiplayer maps. The single player, on the other hand, will be released later during the summer. Specific dates haven’t been announced for either launch. Here’s the catch, though. Everyone who has already contributed to the game’s Kickstarter page will get the single player experience for free. “The first thing people are going to read here is delay,” the announcement said. ̶...

So here it is, the GC list of the 5 best upcoming VR games (in no particular order, of course). Batman: Arkham VR Release Date: October 2016 Platform: PS VR Arkham: VR is a brand new take on the Arkham series (not a sequel, though), where you can be Batman. Finally, you can say AND mean the words “I’m Batman” (I mean, I’m Batman). The fascinating thing is that the game does not seem to be as action packed as the ori...

During Steam Dev Days, Valve’s annual conference focused on developers, Jeff Bellinghausen announced that Valve will release an update that adds DualShock 4 support to Steam’s Controller configuration settings, bringing the improved optimization for the beloved PS 4 controller. As reported by Gamasutra, developer Lars Doucet (Defender’s Quest) said, ““Believe it or not, when you use the PS4 Controller through the Steam API, it’s exactly the same as a Steam Controller. You make the exact same API calls, you only get actions, not inputs, and the Steam API takes care of everything.” The Steam controller and the DualShock 4 have a lot of overlapping capabilities, thanks to the DualShock’s gyro and touchpad. The Steam controller offers quite a large number of cusom...
