Amazon Announces Three Original Games

At TwitchCon 2016, Amazon Game Studios finally revealed what is has been working on, announcing three major games in development. First is targeted towards the esports market, called Breakaway. It’s a 4v4, mythological sports brawler that features hero-centric, class based combat. Registrations for the pre-alpha are currently open, so don’t forget to sign up! Next up is a third person shooter known as Crucible, which is also seems to be a competitive game, with 12 players fight for survival on an alien planet, with key focus being on cooperation. Vampyr Gets New Screenshots, Combat Details Revealed

Dontnod Entertainment, the makers of Life is Strange, are working hard on their upcoming horror and gore filled title Vampyr, and it looks like the game is only to be more brutal here onward. Wasteland 3 To Go Live For Crowdfunding on Fig, Will Feature Co-op

After the success of Wasteland 2, inXile has announced that they’re making a direct sequel which will be released on the Windows PC, Linux, Mac, PS 4 and Xbox One. The developers said that they’ll be helping fund Wasteland 3 via crowdfunding on Fig, where they hope to raise about USD 2.75 million. Cyberpunk 2077 Will Feature Huge Living Cities And Multiplayer

According to a list of projects submitted by CD Projekt Red for a grant fomr the Polish GameINN program, it seems like the scale and potential of their new upcoming sci-fi RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is massive. Go Underwater In The New Rocket League AquaDome Update

Developer Psyonix has announced that their blockbuster rocker-propelled-car-slash-soccer mashup, Rocket League is getting a new, underwater themed update. Along with the new update which is being called AquaDome, two new premium DLC vehicles, Proteus and Titan will also be released, and will be priced at USD 1.99 for each car. The AquaDome update will be free and available in both casual and competitive playlists, with a stadium featuring a transparent glass dome hidden at the bottom of the ocean, teeming with life, including jellyfish, great white sharks and whatnot. Ubisoft has revealed a new trailer for their upcoming open world game Watch Dogs 2, titled Welcome to Dedsec.  In this trailer you will learn more about Marcus Holloway, including the members of the hacker group Dedsec team who will help the hip young, protagonist Marcus to reveal the corrupt secrets of a powerful tech corporation, which tries to exploit people on a scale bigger than anyone could envisage. Gilgamesh To Lead Sumeria In Sid Meier’s Civilization VI

2K and Firaxis Games today revealed that Gilgamesh will lead Sumeria in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, launching on Oct 21 st for Windows PC. Little is known about the real Gilgamesh, the main character in the Epic of Gilgamesh and other Sumerian poems. In the epic, Gilgamesh, king of the city of Uruk, is described as part god and part man, and has several run-ins with various gods as well as a sage who is said to have survived the Great Flood depicted in the Bible. Scholars generally concur that Gilgamesh was in fact a real person, as several individuals referenced in the epic are confirmed to have lived in the region at the time, between 2800 and 2500 BC. The Division Public Test Servers Open For PC Players

Ubisoft has announced that the test servers will be open for all players on the PC so they can test the beta version for update 1.4 before it releases in October. Players can download the beta client on Uplay and Steam, which will be around 45 GB. Worry not, it won’t overwrite any of your old game data. Here’s what the official post reads: “Agents, The Public Test Server will be opening to all PC players on Monday, September 26th. On the PTS, you will be able to test the current build for Update 1.4 before its official release on the live game, in October. Join a Biker Gang With GTA Online’s Next DLC

Rockstar Games has announced the next big DLC for their critically acclaimed title, GTA Online. The new update will add the ability to to create biker gangs with up to 8 players who can then buy clubhouses for their gang to hang out and chill. The DLC will also add a new Biker mechanic, new motorcycles and even more venues for business opportunities. Players will get access to new weapons, tattoos and styles, plus the opportunity to build new businesses and climb the ranks within the gang. Based On The Open Beta, Battlefield 1 To Get Some Changes

The open beta for the DICE’s upcoming FPS, Battlefield 1 concluded recently, and based on the feedback, DICE has announced some upcoming changes to the game. Lead World Designer, Daniel Berlin said in the official post,”When we build a new Battlefield game it’s important for us to try new things, we want to stay fresh and renew the franchise with each new installment. However, it’s equally as important that we take the feedback that you, the community, are giving us.” One major change being made to the game would be to the Conquest Mode.
