Ubisoft Says Zelda & Horizon Zero Dawn Borrowed From Their Open World Games
Ubisoft has their formula set when it comes to open world games, and you can see the template being repeated over many of their biggest franchises. While for the most part their approach to open world game design is solid, it does tend to get very repetitive and mindless. Other games have definitely taken influence from some of the biggest Ubisoft games, but tweaked many of these mechanics to offer a much more compelling gameplay loop. Kingdom Come: Deliverance – Tech Alpha 0.4
The newest update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available and with it, our first look at the game’s in-development combat mechanics, which we got a glimpse of at E3 2015. The latest update to the Alpha includes around 5 hours of gameplay according to Warhorse Studios, with new quests to find, combat to test and of course, just exploring the lay of the land. Warhorse Studios also provided somewhat of an overview video of all the new changes yesterday, which you can check out just above if you don’t have Alpha access to the game. The Division Beta Sign-Up Open Now
Ubisoft has now opened up a sign-up list for those who want to be the first to play Tom Clancy’s The Division’s Beta when it launches to Xbox One players in December of this year. Spots are limited, so you might want to get on it right away. The Beta will apparently be a timed exclusive to Xbox One. Then, in 2016, PC and PS4 players will get the chance to check it out. You must also Pre-Order the game in order to take advantage of the Beta. You can pre-order on the same page as the Beta sign-up. Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online shooter with RPG elements. More Details For No Man’s Sky Revealed
No Man’s Sky was showcased again with a live demo, with significant details about the gameplay, including the way you travel around space and the planets. Dragon Age Dev Praises Witcher 3
Dragon Age developer BioWare has spoken out to congratulate CD Projekt Red on the release of their long-in-development RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game officially launched today, May 19, after years of development and multiple delays. Check out the Twitter exchange below. Reviews for The Witcher 3 have been overwhelmingly positive across the board. And with over 200 hours of gameplay, even we have barely scratched the surface!!
Ride a Dinosaur in Ark: Survival Evolved
A new trailer reveals multiplayer gameplay footage of Ark: Survival Evolved, featuring a lush landscape filled with pre-historic creatures. “As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, use your skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land,” a description reads. “Hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements, while teaming up with or preying upon hundreds of other players to survive, dominate… and escape!” Does this look promising?
