A story of dread, deceit and destruction with plenty of twists and lots of bone shattering spectacles, Injustice 2 is a fantastic sequel that improves on its predecessor in every way possible. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, famed for their Mortal Kombat series and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Injustice 2 was released in May 2017 for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One along with ports for Android and iOS mobiles. To start off, I went on into this game completely blind, having not watched any trailers or character reveals. I was not expecting much from the game, thinking that it would be just another re-skinned Mortal Kombat game with a somewhat boring rehashed Batman v/s Superman story but I was more than just pleasantly surprised. Almost every aspect of the game felt...
Commemorating her 75th anniversary, Wonder Woman is back for more action in Injustice 2, this time with even more brutal attacks and combos. Combine them with her long range lasso skills, and you’ve got yourself a pretty badass brawler. Joining her, and making his debut to the Injustice franchise, is Blue Beetle. This cocky alien brings along with him kickass technology that allows him to create various gadgets and weapons for his neon blue power suit, making him effective at both long range and close quarter combat. The trailer showcases lightning fast fighting sequences between both the brawlers, and looks amazing while doing so. Injustice 2 is being developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros, scheduled for release in 2017. For more news and reviews, keep checkin...
NetherRealm Studios debuted the Raiden reveal trailer for Mortal Kombat X today at EVO 2014 and you can now watch it below! “Mortal Kombat” creator Ed Boon told IGN that Raiden will have three different variations – Displacer, Storm Lord, and the tentatively-titled Thunder God Raiden. Displacer style is all about leveraging Raiden’s teleportation abilities. As Storm Lord Raiden, he can toss out little lightning bombs, and once two have been set, they form a stream of lighting between them, controlling large portions of space at a time. Thunder God Raiden is all about damage. He doesn’t have the utility of the other two, but looks to make up for it with a variety of powerful ways to finish combos. Mortal Kombat X is scheduled for release in 2015 f...
Ed Boon, creative director of NetherRealm Studios and all round Twitter tease has confirmed that the next Mortal Kombat game will be called Mortal Kombat X. A trailer has also been released in which Sub Zero and Scorpion beat each other to death in a snowy scene, whilst Wiz Khalifa raps an track written exclusively for the game, entitled “Can’t Be Stopped.” Given the fact the game will be cross-generational, it seems likely that the below trailer isn’t made from gameplay footage, but so far both WB and NetherRealm have remained mum on exactly what it shows off. The fighter will be released for PS3, PS4, 360, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2015 check out the nifty trailer. We’ve captured some awesome moments from the trailer for you 🙂
