Czech-made no-fantasy medieval role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been turning heads for a couple of years, ever since – and even before – it was successfully funded on Kickstarter. It’s powered by CryEngine and it genuinely looks lovely , which you can see in the video below: It had earlier been announced that the game was set for a summer release, but it seems like any deliverance of sorts will have to wait. The prime reason for that is because the game is also being pushed for a simultaneous release on consoles. The snag comes from the pending publisher/distributor (not named) perhaps wanting all three versions of the game – PC, PS4 and Xbox One – to arrive at the same time. The newest update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance is now available and with it, our first look at the game’s in-development combat mechanics, which we got a glimpse of at E3 2015. The latest update to the Alpha includes around 5 hours of gameplay according to Warhorse Studios, with new quests to find, combat to test and of course, just exploring the lay of the land. Warhorse Studios also provided somewhat of an overview video of all the new changes yesterday, which you can check out just above if you don’t have Alpha access to the game.
