Forza Motorsport 7 – Official PC System Requirements Revealed

Microsoft has revealed the official PC requirements for Forza Motorsport 7. According to the PC specs, PC gamers will need at least an modern-day Intel quad-core CPU with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GT740 or NVIDIA GTX650 or and AMD R7 250X graphics card. What’s also interesting here is that Microsoft recommends an Intel i5 4460 3.2GHz with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX670 or NVIDIA 1050Ti graphics card. Pretty low PC requirements, meaning that owners of GPUs equivalent to the GTX980Ti will most likely be able to run the game in 4K with 60fps. Or at least that’s our guess. Forza Motorsport 7 releases on October 3rd, and you can find its full PC requirements below. Minimum OS: Windows 10 Architecture: x64 Keyboard: Integrated Keyboard Mouse: Integrated Mouse DirectX: DirectX 12 API, Hardware Fe...

Borderlands and Duke Nukem Movies?!

Gearbox Software has revealed an update on the Borderlands movie as well as announcing plans to make a Duke Nukem movie. Now, most video game movies have been garbage. People seem to enjoy the Resident Evil movies but they’re honestly quite bad, the Mortal Kombat movie was also quite bad and don’t even get me started on the Super Mario Bros. movie which, let’s just say, doesn’t exist.  Borderlands was announced over a year ago, but news has been relatively quiet since the initial announcement and many have wondered if the movie was going to happen at all. Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford spoke to Geoff Keighley via YouTube Live at E3 where he provided an update on the Borderlands adaptation. Pitchford explains. “We’ve been developing scripts and the ...

Scalebound: The Game That Was Killed by Hype

Platinum Games’ Scalebound was a game that a lot of people were looking forward to, especially considering it was going to be an Xbox exclusive and Platinum Games’ first action-adventure game.  Sadly a delay, it was announced that Scalebound was canceled at the start of 2017.   Phil Spencer, aside from mentioning that the game’s cancellation “hurt him” like it did the fans, states he shared the same disappointment fans felt after the decision was made during an interview with Japanese gaming site GameWatch. He believes that the game was announced too soon which put a lot of pressure on the developers which acted detrimentally. The hype was so much that they felt they couldn’t deliver to what the fans expected and hence they decided to shut down the proje...

Sony blocking Cross-Play for Profit?

With recent announcements that Minecraft will allow cross-play between all the platforms and Rocket League for the Switch also announcing that it’ll feature cross-play, Sony has made a strange decision and have blocked cross-play on their platforms. The reasoning behind this decision is very weak and quite frankly, not a smart one but what do we “players” know. In an interview with Eurogamer, PlayStation global sales and marketing head Jim Ryan had this to say, “We’ve got to be mindful of our responsibility to our install base”, he says. “Minecraft – the demographic playing that, you know as well as I do, it’s all ages but it’s also very young. We have a contract with the people who go online with us, that we look after them and they are within the PlayStation...

Top 15 Games Showcased At E3 2017

Now that all the press conferences are over and most of the announcements and showcasing is done, let’s take a look at games that I found were the best at E3 2017, a kind of mediocre one all things considered. Battlefront 2 EA seems to have learned from their mistakes from Battlefront. They’ve added a single player story mode, soldier classes, and all eras are now playable. They’ve also stated that there will be now Season Pass as all the DLC for this game will be free. Beyond Good and Evil 2 When the director of the game comes on stage and is almost in tears, you know how much it means to him. The cult classic is finally getting a 2nd game but it’s actually a prequel.  However that does not matter and people are hype none the less. Shadow of the Colossus Now, you m...
