Now This is Pod Racing! : WipEout Omega Collection Review

Fast paced anti-gravity racing with weapons, amazing music, and splendid visuals, WipEout Omega Collection is the best WipeEout experience yet. I have to say, as someone who hasn’t played a lot of WipEout, having only dabbled with it in the past, this is pod racing! But better! Developed by Sony XDev Europe, Clever Beans, and EPOS Game Studios for the PlayStation 4, this collection features a collection of content from Wipeout HD, Fury, and 2048. They’re not just ports but are actually remakes that support 4K-60fps and HDR. The gameplay from the get go felt a lot like the WipEout of previous years that I had played but smoother. I started off at the slowest speed to get accustomed to it and then ramped it up to the fastest and that was mind-blowingly fast paced. Although it was...

Top 10 Games You Probably Missed From E3 2017

We’ve covered the highs, lows, disappointments, and no-shows of E3 2017. Here is the last list of games we might have looked over or missed but are still really cool and promising. Sonic Forces This has been announced for quite some time now. However, we finally got an in-depth look at it. There are 3 primary “modes” in the game. Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic, and Forces Sonic. That new mode is one that mixes the two other modes, and allows you to create a new character based on an animal, and play the game your way. The new game looks pretty cool, and launches on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC some time later this year. Call of Cthulu This is another one we’ve known about for quite some time. It was announced back in February of 2016. Finally, we have gotten a trailer to give us an ide...

Naughty Dog Says Uncharted Sequel Could Be Open World, If They Make It

In an interview with Eurogamer, Lost Legacy’s creative director and writer Shaun Escayg when asked about if the Uncharted world was done since Nathan Drake’s Story was over he said, “I wouldn’t say it’s the end. This thieving world is huge. There’s so many characters. Even before we settled on this particular story we were exploring Sullivan, we were exploring Cutter, and pairing each other up, thinking what would be right, what would have conflict, growth, something new, something fresh. And Chloe was the one that kept jumping out. But to say the Uncharted world is done… I doubt that highly.” This basically means that Lost Legacy is not the last Uncharted game and we can expect more games that feature the other characters. And that’s n...

Overwatch Golden Loot Boxes Leaked by Twitch Prime, Guarantees One Legendary

Golden Loot Boxes were one of the few things leaked when the anniversary event for Overwatch dropped a few weeks ago. The model and references to t were made within the game’s code, but no one knew for sure what they would do. Today, that veil was lifted, perhaps a bit early, thanks to Twitch Prime. As part of this month’s Loot for Twitch Prime members, the streaming giant gave out a “Golden Loot box” for Overwatch, which guarantees at least one legendary item. According to the description, these boxes will not contain seasonal event items. Having access to a Twitch Prime account, Gamerevolution confirmed that the code and the loot box worked immediately, even before Patch 1.12 dropped and even after Patch 1.12 has gone live with no mention of the Golden Loot Boxes,...

Tekken It To The Next Level: Tekken 7 Review

Family fights, weird animal fighters, and various devils, Tekken has always been a bit over the top but awesome. It is a game with which I have a lot of fond memories. Starting from Tekken 3, I’ve played almost all the Tekken games barring Tag-Tournament and was very excited to hear that Tekken 7 was going to be released on PC but was sceptical about whether or not it would run well on the PC. After playing through everything the game had to offer, here’s what I thought about it. Starting with the Story Mode. The story was honestly quite good and revealed a lot about certain characters which gave them more depth and was good character development. At first, it seemed pretty bland but it picked up towards the end and felt somewhat satisfying. The story itself was quite short and...
