NVIDIA has finally revealed their response to the RX 480, AMD’s high performance budget GPU – the GTX 1060. The card promises huge improvements, claimed by NVIDIA to be faster than the GTX 980 which comes at a price tag of about $400, while the GTX 1060 is said to cost only around $250. The GPU will have 1280 CUDA Cores, a base clock speed of 1.5 GHz with about 6 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8 Gbits/s. It will have about 4.4 Teraflops of computing power and is said to be VR ready with a TDP of only about 120 W. If the card delivers on what it promises, you can have a great GPU to run all your games in high settings without them straining your wallet.
