SK Hynix Launches SSD SC300 in India

SK hynix has last month launched SSD SC300 in India through its Authorized National Distributors Abacus Peripherals Pvt Ltd. The new SSD is based upon company’s 1Xnm MLC technology and comes in 128GB, 256GB & 512GB storage options. The SK Hynix SSD SC300 is designed to deliver much faster read and write speed than hard disk drive and especially designed for gamers, media and movie producers, architects and designers. SC300 SSD comes with 5 year limited warranty and weighs 61g only. There is sequential read/write speed of up to 530MB/s and 480MB/s, random read/write speed up to 95K IOPS and 85K IOPS respectively. Nvidia Shield takes a price drop

Nvidia has responded to consumer concerns over the price of its Android-based handheld, dropping the price this morning. Additionally, the company has announced that it will start shipping the units next week. Nvidia was coming to market with its Tegra 4-powered handheld at a price of $349 but  now the price has come down to $299. We expect that the price of the PlayStation 4 ($399) may have resulted in the rethink. It’s not hard to get excited by Project Shield’s feature set, but if you’re not familiar with Nvidia’s Project Shield, it’s an Android-driven mobile device that comes attached to a controller.
