Making a video game isn’t a one man job, well at least making a good one isn’t. Everybody from the director all the way down to game testers, play a crucial role in determining how good or bad the game will turn out. All these people work together toward a common goal, which is to make a game that leaves an impression on gamers across the world, achieving success in both critical acclaim and sales. However, there usually is one person who leads the development of a game or of the industry in general. Their vision is what pushes the rest to work toward a goal. Women are gaining more recognition, becoming more and more kickass by the day, and if recent reports are correct, female gamers now outnumber their male counterparts. What better way to commemorate that than to celebrate badass women in the world of gaming? Here are 5 women who surely don’t need anyone’s protection. Lara Croft : Tomb Raider One of the most i...
Today we bring you 5 games that are really upbeat and work like your uncle at your cousin’s marriage, but are starting to show signs of fatigue and really need to take a break before they collapse from exhaustion. Telltale Games Telltale are the folks behind the successful franchises such as The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead, and are singlehandedly responsible for bringing back the Adventure game genre from the dead. They now have franchises such as Batman, Back to the Future, Game of Thrones, Borderlands, Minecraft, and am I the only onee who sees the burnout potential here? You CAN have too much of a good thing. People do, after all, get sick on chocolate ice-cream. LEGO Games LEGO games are LEGO versions of games/movies/anything and are mostly fun children’s games where...
