IGN has published the first 27 minutes of gameplay from Rise of the Tomb Raider. The sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider follows Lara Croft as she searches Siberia for the ancient city Kitezh, built by Georgy II, the Grand Prince of Vladimir in the 13th century, which Lara believes holds some truth behind immortality. Rise of the Tomb Raider will launch for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10 in North America and November 13 in Europe, for PC in early 2016, and for PlayStation 4 in holiday 2016. PlayStation has unveiled a new live-action trailer for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront on its YouTube channel. The video features a battle taking place on Hoth, with TIE Fighters and AT-AT walkers making appearances. While the trailer does have a disclaimer stating that the footage shown is “not actual gameplay,” there are some neat special effects employed, as well as a throwback to long-time loyal Star Wars fans. As you’ll see in the video, cultivating your Agility skills has a number of benefits to help keep you alive in the wasteland. Agility will improve your VATS shooting efficiency and can assist in sneak attacks against unsuspecting foes, among other things. Called as Shadows of Evil, it introduces four unwitting characters who must uncover the secrets and challenges laid out for them by a shadowy figure, who offers them a path to redemption. Jeff Goldblum, Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, and Ron Perlman star in “Shadows of Evil,” a new survival co-op experience only available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Unravel the secrets and explore a massive 1940s, film noir-inspired world in the deepest Zombies experience to date. The existence of a “Realistic” difficulty mode for Call of Duty: Black Ops III was recently discovered by the game’s achievement/trophy listings. Now, Treyarch has provided more details on how this uber-challenging mode works. Producer Jason Blundell tells Xbox Achievements, “[In Realistic] you have one point of life, so if you’re shot once, you’re dead. It completely changes the way you play the game.” He went on to say that surviving in Black Ops III’s four-player co-op campaign will require the coordinated effort of all soldiers. And patience. Gun Media and developer Illfonic have announced Friday the 13th: The Game, a third-person, asymmetrical multiplayer game for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The hook is that one player controls Jason Voorhees, while seven others take control of camp counselors who are attempting to survive the night. Friday the 13th: The Game runs on Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, and looks quite nice, even in its unfinished state currently. The game is tentatively scheduled to launch in October 2016. Activision and Treyarch have revealed a new multiplayer map and Specialist character for the upcoming shooter, Black Ops 3.You can watch the entire, 36-minute broadcast that goes over both the map and Specialist below. The new Specialist character, Firebreak, is focused on fire powers. The character wields a flamethrower weapon called a Purifier that is capable of clearing a room. Firebreak also sports an ability called Heat Wave, which overwhelms and incapacitates enemies with a blast of heat. The game will be launched on November 6 across console and PC. Microsoft has published the “launch gameplay trailer for Halo 5:Guardians”.
