NVIDIA’s Gamer Connect 2017 Comes To Ahmedabad
NVIDIA hosted Gamer Connect 2017 in Ahmedabad at Montecristo Banquet, Sardar Patel Ring Road today. The second edition of the company’s flagship gamer engagement event saw a turnaround of more than 1600 gaming enthusiasts. Gamer Connect is a platform for the Indian gaming community to bond, interact and explore new avenues in gaming and simultaneously experience the latest technologies introduced to PC gaming. The last and final of the NVIDIA Day celebrations took place in Mumbai’s Gear Up Cafe in Powai. This event concluded the NVIDIA Day celebrations that took place in major cities like Bangalore and Hyderabad. Much like the crowd at at PlayMax, people showed up much before the time allotted to them. For this particular event we invited individuals to play a series of games and accomplish tasks within those games to complete a checklist. Gamers came in a bit confused as to what a casual tournament would entail, but they got better acquainted with the idea as the event went along. The second of the NVIDIA Day celebration took place in Hyderabad’s PlayMax Interactive and it was quite an event if I could say so myself. I was utterly pleased with the not only the response but also the just the type who people who turned up for this event. Gamers were showing up even as early as 9 and crowding up my registration desk. Once we got people registered, we stamped them with an NVDay stamp and sent them all to the rooftop cafe for a small briefing of the event. So the first of the 3 NVDay Celebrations kicked off in Bangalore’s LXG yesterday, where we had a ton of gamers come in and just enjoy an entire day of gaming. Gamers came in early and after attending a small briefing were immediately handed the task lists and were off to the allocated PC’s.
