Campo Santo Productions Announces In the Valley of Gods

Our new game is In the Valley of Gods, a single-player first-person adventure set in Egypt in the 1920s. You play as a disgraced former filmmaker and explorer, reunited with your old partner for a project that could leave you with fame and fortune—or dead and buried in the sand. We’re currently developing the game for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with any potential future platforms yet to be determined. There’s a tentative release target of 2019, but that could change. Just like with Firewatch, follow our progress here on the blog and our Twitter account for the latest news and behind-the-scenes development. In the Valley of Gods is an adventure unlike anything we’ve ever made and we can’t wait for you to play it. Register with us for the best in gaming, and join us for video game discussions ...

Pewdiepie In Trouble Over Racial Slurs, Game Developers Decide To Take Action Against Him

Felix “Pewdiepie” Kjellberg has been taking some flak over the last few months regarding his content containing racial jests and commentary. While Pewdiepie himself has defended himself saying that his words were taken out of content, and the media is out to get him, others disagree. And for some of those who disagree, this latest ‘incident’ has crossed a line. In a recent video, while playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Pewdiepie shouts some obscenities, including the N-word. “What a fucking n-” says Pewdiepie, while downing an opponent, “Sorry, but what the fuck. What a fucking asshole.” The original video has since been deleted from his channel, but here’s an alternative upload. This does look really bad for him, and game developers have finally decided to tak...

The Best Of Steam Summer Sale 2016: …It’s Something

Steam Summer “Picnic” Sale is here for 2016, and we have to say, it’s a little disappointing. With no flash sales and no daily deals, the sense of discovery, the anticipation that caused you to make those impulse purchases are gone. Also, the titles are not expected to go any cheaper than they are right now, so it will be somewhat tougher to hoard up all those games we won’t play for the next 2 years. Still, Lord Gaben hasn’t forsaken us completely, and something good will come out of this. You no longer have to worry about missing the perfect deal for you, because most of the games will remain on sale till July 4th. So anyone who wants to make sure that they don’t end up spending too much (like that’s ever gonna happen), can browse at their leisur...
