With update 4.0 released last month, every PS 4 got HDR capabilities, making it not-necessary to own a PS 4 Pro to be able to enjoy crisper, brighter graphics. Of course, you do need an HDR compatible screen and a game with HDR support to go with that. Fans will be glad to know that in the latest patch, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gained HDR compatibility for the PS 4 and Xbox One S, making it the first HDR-capable PlayStation 4 game. In addition to this major update, there were also a lot of bug fixes, new items and Breach mode customization was also included in the patch. It’s hard to see a downside to this. For the rest of us who don’t own an HDR display, looks like we’ll have to be content with the more stable gameplay experience for the time being. Here are the official...
A DLC trailer for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has emerged on PlayStation’s YouTube channel about three days ago. System Rift, which kinda sounds like a band name, reunites Adam with friend and former colleague, Frank Pritchard at Sarif Industries. While the trailer looks quite interesting, gamers from across the world didn’t seem to take nicely to the DLC. Most feel that it was too early for the game to have a DLC. The game released roughly about 3 weeks ago and it does seem a bit fishy that Square Enix would come out with a DLC so soon. All this just seems to point to the fact that this “DLC” was actually a part of the original game and has been cut and sold separately just for money. Either way, here is a list of the comments that I came across. And my ...
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launched on the PC yesterday with quite a few issues, which Eidos Montreal hope to have taken care of with the first patch release. The patch updates the game v1.0 build 524.7 and focuses on “critical issues users ran into immediately following release.” These primarily deal with major crash issues rather than performance fixes, as the patch notes say: Fixed crashes caused by third-party programs interfering with the game. Fixed crash that occurred after viewing the intro videos. Fixed issue that could cause a crash at the end of the Prague intro scene. Fixed mouse invert setting not being displayed correctly in the options menu. These come with an additional note by Eidos Montreal, suggesting to turn off MSAA: “We are seeing people reporting perf...
Enix® and Eidos-Montréal have revealed how they imagined some of the major cities around the globe looking in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided®’s interpretation of the year 2029. In addition to Prague, one of the locations in the game, the Eidos-Montréal team of artists have shared their vision of what Barcelona, Berlin, Blackpool, Cologne, London, Moscow, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Stockholm and Sydney would look like 2 years after the “Aug Incident”, the event within the previous entry in the series, Deus Ex: Human Revolution®. Millions die...

Steam Summer “Picnic” Sale is here for 2016, and we have to say, it’s a little disappointing. With no flash sales and no daily deals, the sense of discovery, the anticipation that caused you to make those impulse purchases are gone. Also, the titles are not expected to go any cheaper than they are right now, so it will be somewhat tougher to hoard up all those games we won’t play for the next 2 years. Still, Lord Gaben hasn’t forsaken us completely, and something good will come out of this. You no longer have to worry about missing the perfect deal for you, because most of the games will remain on sale till July 4th. So anyone who wants to make sure that they don’t end up spending too much (like that’s ever gonna happen), can browse at their leisur...
As it stands, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is one of the most hotly-anticipated cross-platform releases that’s set to arrive in the coming months. The title was one of the biggest success stories of E3 2015, with the release of an initial gameplay trailer that showcased the title’s stealth-based cyberpunk gameplay. A more in-depth look at the game during the expo also revealed that it builds well upon the successful aspects of its predecessor Deus Ex: Human Revolution, with gameplay that refines rather than innovates. Since the plaudits received at E3 2015, further details have been released about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, with signs that developer Eidos Montreal is taking the single player campaign of the title very seriously. Forgoing a multiplayer mode at all, the developer has instead trie...
Publisher Square Enix had an impressive lineup of games to show off at E3 this year, including Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the sequel to the well-reviewed Deus Ex: Human Revolution. We’ve seen a few trailers for the game before, but if you’re still curious about it and don’t mind seeing a spoiler scene, Square Enix released a full 25 minutes of gameplay.
