Carrie Fisher, renowned for her iconic role as Princess Leia in Star Wars, has died at the age of 60. Hospitalised after a cardiac arrest during a flight from London to Los Angeles on the 23rd of December, she died on the 27th of December. She was started her career with the 1975 movie, Shampoo. She was the daughter of Debbie Reynolds, and the singer, Eddie Fisher. Fisher was also known for her semi-autobiographical novels, including Postcards from the Edge and the screenplay for the film of the same name, as well as her autobiographical one-woman play and its nonfiction book, Wishful Drinking, based on the show.
