Resident Evil VII Gets “Twilight” Update

Capcom has announced that their upcoming horror survival title Resident Evil VII: Biohazard, released with the teaser Beginning Hour has been updated, with some new areas now available for exploration. The demo, which is now available to all the PS 4 owners, not just the ones with a PS Plus subscription, has updated areas and new items, and is now called the Twilight Version. Now, in Beginning Hour people came across some items they couldn’t use, including the mysterious dummy finger. At that point Capcom had said that it may find some use in the future, and it’s possible that this update is what sheds some light on it. The game also got a creepy, nasty new trailer recently, which shows the whole Baker family for the first time. They’re also zombies feasting on guts sitti...

Resident Evil VII Gets A Creepy New Trailer

Beware, not recommended for people with weak stomachs. Resident Evil VII has just received a new trailer, and it sure looks spooky. It features zombies feasting on entrails while sitting around a dinner table which you get to see in a first person perspective. Breaking the convention, this title resembles more to a full fledged horror game rather than a third person shooter.   The game also got two new screenshots, one of an creepy and ominous abandoned room, while the other is a close up shot of the zombie banquet. Come on, just because the guys are (un)dead doesn’t mean they’re not allowed to be classy. Resident Evil VII Biohazard is set to release on 24th January 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. For more news and reviews, keep checking back at Gaming...

Dead Rising 4 Gets Rid Of Time Limits

The Dead Rising franchise has always been known for one thing – putting a time limit to tasks, thus introducing an urgency with sometimes quite harsh punishments, including a game restart. In spite of having all the freedom to explore, the time limit bound you to completing the tasks in the give boundation, or face the consequences. The upcoming title will abandon the system completely. Unlike Dead Rising 3, in which adhering to the time limit was optional, this time Frank West is going to have all the time in the world to explore the world and kill zombies. Though we don’t know how to feel about ripping a game of its most iconic element, even Dead Rising 3 wasn’t exactly a bad game (and the time limit in that was completely useless, mind you). But we can probably expect ...

These announcements were made paving way for the Christmas release of Dead Rising 4, which is supposed to be a Windows and Xbox One exclusive for an entire year following its release. Check out the trailer for the much awaited game. The original Dead Rising was released exclusively for the Xbox 360 in 2006, and only the Wii got the taste of the game with a scaled down, motion controlled port. It will be interesting, not to menti...

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Confirmed For 2015

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has finally been confirmed as Capcom announced the game during today’s SCEJA Press Conference. A live action trailer too was shown there, we don’t have it here at the moment but will show you guys as soon as we find it. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has only been confirmed for Sony’s PlayStation 4 till now. It’s worth mentioning that the game was originally discovered through a listing on the Xbox Site, so we won’t be surprised if there is a an Xbox One release and possibly a Xbox 360. We can expect the game to come out next year sometime. From what we hear there is a new setting, character and background story. More information will be shared by Capcom next week. A playable version of Revelations 2 is set for the Tokyo Game Show.

Dead Rising Movie–We probably will see one

A report by Variety said that there was more than a possibility that the game Dead Rising would take to the big screen. It is to be produced by Legendary Pictures (The Dark Knight, Inception, The Hangover) and would be the first project the studio’s Legendary Digital Media department will undertake. If the movie is anything close to this, then we’d be pretty excited about it! Dead Rising will initially be released on Sony’s Crackle service, which offers viewers free, ad-supported video content in North America (its UK service closed down on April 1). The film would be distributed worldwide by Content Media and will be released on Video On Demand, DVD and TV. The report goes on the mention that Lorenzo di Bonaventura will executive produce Dead Rising, while writing duties...

Ultra Street Fighter 4 coming out June 2014

Ultra Street Fighter IV, which is technically an updated version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, is all set to launch “early” June 2014 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and in August for PC, Capcom earlier this week. The game should be available sometime early June as a $15 digital upgrade on Xbox 360 and PS3. The digital upgrade version for PC will come out in August with the same price tag. “Also in August, Capcom will release $40 retail bundles for Xbox 360 and PS3 that include all previously released costumes. On PC, the bundle with all the costumes will be available as a download in August for $30.” “Apologies to our PC fans, as we did want to release simultaneously, but this was the only way that we could ensure that Ultra Street Fighter IV would be includ...

Capcom hoping to sell 1.2 Million copies of Dead Rising 3

Capcom has just come out with their sales figures and projections for some of its biggest franchises. Other than yesterday’s news that Resident Evil 5 is now the company’s best-selling game, additional information has been released about more recently launched titles. “In the six months beginning April 2013, it appears that Lost Planet 3 was outsold globally by Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. While the latter managed to sell 650,000 units worldwide, it transpires that the latest entry in the Lost Planet franchise sold just 300,000.” Looking to the future, Capcom is projecting sales of 1.2 million for its Xbox One exclusive, due out worldwide when the console launches on November 22. It’s a fairly optimistic figure seeing as it comes at the start of the cons...
