Snoop will talk you through your adventures, from killstreaks to enemy activity. You might consider swapping out your usual Jolt for some gin and juice, though. The DLC will cost $2.99, a pittance compared with the joy it will bring you. A preview video shows Snoop Dog in the recording studio laying down lines like “You got that Spitfire drone now” and “Rack up points by reaching the enemy portal, you dig?” The correct answer to that is, &#...

Call of Duty: Ghosts Players Get Trolled

The Xbox One has no shortage of compelling features packed into that black obelisk of a console. Most notable is the Kinect voice command integration for navigating the consoles various menus. When you tell your Xbox One to ‘snap to’, ‘stop listening’, or, in the case of this video, ‘sign out’ you really get to see what the console is capable of. Watch as some unsuspecting Call of Duty: Ghosts players get trolled hard when one clever player exploits the Xbox One’s voice commands. Pretty clever.

Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis detailed. At $49.99, this year’s CoD Season Pass accounts for four main DLC drops, titled Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis. There was never any question that Call of Duty: Ghosts would be following a similar route to other installments in offering its owners a DLC Season Pass, but now that the official trailer has been released, potential buyers can see exactly what they’ll be getting for their dollars. In short: new maps, in-game multiplayer items and customization options, and a new four-part episodic campaign in Ghosts‘ new ‘Extinction’ game mode. Sadly, the official trailer offers no further information on future dog-themed expansions. The Season Pass nets owners access to the four DLC packs being planned: ‘Onslaught,’ ‘I...

Call of Duty: Ghosts hits $1 billion on launch day

Activision revealed two  days ago that  Call of Duty: Ghosts generated $1 billion in worldwide revenue on launch day. Activision made clear in its announcement that it “sold more than $1 billion of Call of Duty: Ghosts into retail stores worldwide as of day one,”  which technically means that this figure is based on the units sold to retailers and not on the number of units that ended up going to a consumer. In comparison to previous installments of the game, Call of Duty: Black Ops II took 15 days to reach $1 billion in sales, however this figure included units sold to consumers and not only to retailers. After referring to data from Microsoft, Activision also revealed that Call of Duty: Ghosts has moved to the top spot on Xbox Live as the most-played game this week. Activisio...

Call of Duty: Ghosts system requirements released officially

Nvidia put out some unofficial Call of Duty: Ghosts system specs a couple of weeks back suggesting that Infinity Ward’s peppy manshooter would require a 64 bit OS, and they were right. The Call Of Duty sitenow has the official specs, which adjusts the 50GB install to a 40GB one (lets face it, 30GB of that is hi-res dog), but retains the 6GB RAM requirement. Watch Dogs, another game designed to span the gap between current and ‘next-gen’ console hardware, needs similar tech. We can expect system requirements to quickly jump up when we start seeing ports of games that target the PS4 and Xbone exclusively next year. Will the similarity of the new console hardware to PC architecture make for smoother ports? I can only hope. Meanwhile, get yer Call of Duty: Ghosts system requi...
