With Call of Duty going back to its roots of World War II let’s take a look some of the Call of Duty games that were not really up to the mark or just fell flat when compared to its mighty legacy. Before people come at me with pitchforks, this is a list based on my opinion which will most likely differ from yours so before you start commenting with profanities, read why I feel so and then tell me why you think it shouldn’t be on this list. Call of Duty: Ghosts FISH A.I. I mean, when one of your selling points during a conference is ” Fish moving out of the way” what more can one say. Ghosts was released on the latest gen of consoles and was expected to make full use of the new consoles but that was not the case. It wasn’t just visually boring, the gameplay fel...
There is a second part to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s cooperative zombie experience and Activision has just released a trailer for it- Exo Zombies Infection. Much like the first part of Exo Zombies, Infection stars John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal. After making their way through the overrun Atlas research facility in the first part, the four head towards a Burgertown franchise where they must keep fighting for survival. The second part features a new weapon, new traps and a heavy zombie type. Exo Zombies Infection comes with Advanced Warfare’s Ascendance DLC pack, which releases on March 31 for Xbox Live, with other platforms to follow.

Once I started gaming I realised that this is a hobby that can be pretty harsh on your wallet and is not exactly for everybody. I mean sure we’d love to have as many games as we could get our hands on but at the end of the day you can only play one of those games at a time. Gaming is a field that is starting to gain popularity pretty much all over the world now and as expected value for money is something that this industry needs to cater to. People these days demand games with replay value or plenty of content. Games that take time and effort to complete are the ones that everyone is eyeing, blasting through a game in a day. 2014 has a good year for gaming. It has seen a whole bunch of lengthy titles released in a short period of time, be it remastered versions, brand new titles or even I...
While Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has got some great reviews, it is also getting its fair share of brickbats in videos and networks across the world. For this Activision is calling in its crack team of elite copyright lawyers in take-down strikes against YouTubers who reveal cheats and exploits in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Eurogamer reports that YouTube network Machinima recently issued an email warning to its affiliates, that Activision is on the warpath. “Activision is being particularly vigilant about their Call of Duty videos lately; issuing strikes on videos showing glitches. If you post videos highlighting these glitches, your channel may be liable to receive a copyright strike so please be careful,” stated the email. Activision says that it’s focused on vi...
While there is no official statement on whether or not Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has broken any sales records, one thing we do know is that the game has reached new heights as far as streaming is concerned. Activision and Twitch announced today that Advanced Warfare is the most streamed console game (not PC) of 2014 for its launch week worldwide. It wasn’t mentioned which title Advanced Warfare overtook to get to the top. Come down to figures, Activision says last week alone, more than 75,000 unique Twitch users shared Advanced Warfare gameplay. Advanced Warfare streams were viewed over 26 million times, and drew nearly 6 million unique viewers last week. In all, Twitch users spent over 327 million minutes watching Advanced Warfare streams during the week. “The team...
The Xbox One version of first-person shooter Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare outputs at a resolution of at least 1360×1080, developer Sledgehammer has said. On Xbox One, the resolution dynamically scales up to full 1080p, Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey said in a Reddit AMA. That, he pointed out, makes for a 50 per cent increase on last year’s game, Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. On PlayStation 4 Advanced Warfare runs at a native 1080p resolution. Both versions output at 60 frames-per-second, as is standard with Call of Duty games. Source: Eurogamer
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Steam page has also disclosed the game’s minimum and recommended PC system requirements. We all love watching those kill-streak videos of Call of Duty where quick-scoping is used, that said I’ve never been able to master the art of quickly looking through the scope of a sniper rifle, snapping off a shot, and then immediately switching back to a normal view. While it’s common in many online shooters, including previous Call of Duty releases, Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey says the studio is taking steps to reduce the tactic in Advanced Warfare. Sledgehammer’s focus for multiplayer is ensuring that skill, not an “overpowered create-a-class,” will determine the outcome of online battles, so that someone who’s perfected playing as a sniper will be on equal footing with other players who have developed comparable skills with assault rifles o...
