Batman: Arkham Origins producer, Guillaume Voghel, has revealed an extra hard “I Am the Night” mode for the game. “We have a new difficulty level, New Game Plus is coming pack, that’s really difficult,” he told Eurogamer, “And when you’re done with that there’s I Am the Night mode, which is no saves and one life.” He also explained the first piece of DLC for the game which will see you playing as Bruce Wayne, not Batman. “That’s a really cool one,” he said, “Narratively there’s some added content that will give players a little more background story.” According to Voghel, I Am the Night mode unlocks when players complete the main game and New Game Plus. “The main narrative arc and side missions last about 12 hours and then you have all the collectibles,” he told Eurogamer. WB Games Montreal and DC have released their most recent trailer of the Batman Arkham franchise, titled “Nowhere to Run”. This trailer promises gamers to expect virtually the same fast paced fighting that they got in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City and also reveals the extremely versatile, ‘Firefly’. We first heard about Firefly when it was rumored that this villain was going to appear in the game’s multiplayer mode which will allow gamers to control a member of Joker or Bane’s gang while battling Batman and Robin. All you bat lovers we have though Christopher Nolan’s epic triology might have come to an end but console gamers have something to rejoice that the award-winning Arkham series is returning this winter. This prequel Batman: Arkham Origins will track the Dark Knight’s first years on the job, including his first clashes with several of the series’ classic villains, who have been hired by the well-tailored crime boss Black Mask to take out Batman.
